The Department of Pediatrics at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital of the Catholic University of Korea is involved in the treatment of all kinds of problems that may occur in newborns, children, and adolescents.

The Department of Pediatrics runs special clinics supported by specialists in each area such as the Pediatric Neurology Clinic, Endocrinology Clinic, Respiratory Allergy Clinic, Infection Clinic, and Stem Cell Transplantation Clinic.

Introduction

The Department of Pediatrics at Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital maintains a leading position in treatment and research of pediatric diseases and contributed to producing pediatric specialists through systematic clinical education programs.

Following a recent decrease in childbirth and the number of pediatric patients, patients are more interested in the healthy growth of young children and improving their quality of life. In this respect, we are dedicated to pediatric disease treatment, children’s healthy growth and development, and the prevention of diseases and complications of chronic illness based on a full understanding of the characteristics of children and adolescents, enhancing their quality of life.

We provide specialized treatment for various pediatric diseases in collaboration with areas such as pediatric infection, respiratory allergies, neonatal diseases, neurological disorders, endocrine disease, inherited metabolic disorders, cardiovascular disorders, and hemooncological tumors.

We offer fast and accurate diagnosis and treatment using cutting-edge facilities through operate specialized area-specific clinics and programs to resolve all kinds of medical problems of newborn babies, children, and adolescents.
